The grim, dreich (lovely scottish word for misty, light drizzle) weather that has been hanging over our farm has lifted - yaaayh. Sun shining, Rory sleeping in pram outside (with his fabulous danish kids duvet to keep him warm), Love it when it's like this.

I can't get used to blogging. I've never been very good at it. I guess that's why i keep forgetting to update our story in the world of Tootsie and Fudge.

Maybe some background info would be useful (interesting!?). I am one half of Tootsie and Fudge (Tootsie i think) and live near Perth on a lovely farm with stunning (stunning did i say stunning?) views over the mighty River Tay and beyond to the west (Ben More on a clear day) and north (Schiehallion -only the tip) and to our east Dundee (home to Denis the Menace, Desperate Dan and of course the fabulous GUMIGEMS -

Latest arrival is the outerwear from danish kids clothing brand ej sikke lej. Looks great, excellent quality and the fleece lining is top end. Only problem is we've been sent the wrong coloured pants/salopettes to go with the jackets.... Nothing is ever straight forward!

I know i know... it's been a while. Juggling my hectic but fun time with Elsa, Dougal and Rory can be challenging (seriously,  especially in terms of sleep or lack of) but when you add a business into the equation it just gets harder (oh and also a husband that is into full time harvest on the farm - well he was until it started raining!).... Days disappear and my 'tootsie and fudge to do list' just gets longer and longer.... but hey it's all lots of fun and i just LOVE our scandi and european influences!

With my older two now at school it does mean that i have more time to keep on top of our blogs, facebook and keeping you all informed - well of course that is all ROry dependant too (he is one now).

I am no great writer so please bear with me - i write as i think ( much to mum's dispair). I am wondering what the best thing to write about? DO you want to hear about the day to day (or week to week) goings on at tootse and fudge stock room or would you rather hear about the stories, antics that Tootsie and Fudge get up to wherever they are? Be it Scotland, Denmark , the alps (we are big skiers and got to get the skiing in too!).. Fire back comments !

On that note.. it's what we in Scotland call a 'dreich' (pronounced dreeeeeeech) day, drizzle and wet. YUCK YUCK. Wellies and superduper Scandi raincoat it is ! Bye for now.
